C-Art Open Studios is Cumbria’s biggest Opens Studios event, celebrating the breadth of contemporary and traditional visual art, craft and design to be found in the Lake District and across Cumbria.
C-Art is run by Eden Arts, a cumbrian based arts development agency that exists to promote, support, develop and advise on arts and cultural activity in the England’s largest and most sparsely populated District (Eden) and across other parts of Cumbria.
C-Art exists as a platform for collective marketing and professional development for artists and designers.

Membership for the C-Art 2012 has now closed for this year. 166 visual artists, designers and galleries will be opening their doors from 1- 16 September across Cumbria. The full list of participants will be announced on 31 May, so keep checking back for more information to plan your visit.
C-Art 2011, which ran from 17 September – 2 October saw 100 artists and craftspeople across 80 venues open their studios for two weeks in September.
